Formed in 2019, the USS JOHN YOUNG Veterans Association was established to promote Spruance Class Destroyer education with the public, and to assist in the planning, funding and promotion of the USS JOHN YOUNG veterans social events.

Through the efforts of our members and this website, the group has been able to assist USS JOHN YOUNG Veterans and their families during their time of need. The group reaches out to families to offer support and assistance.
